Introdução
Terminou ontem, 23MAI2021, o Vodafone Rally de Portugal 2021. Este ano, e devido à situação de pandemia em que ainda nos encontramos, a nossa ativação foi focada na criação e operacionalização de um sistema de gestão de público nas zonas espectáculo, em articulação estreita com a organização da prova e com as autoridades locais e distritais, de modo a fornecer informação em tempo real a todos os que queriam assistir a esta prova. Além do mais a VOST Portugal articulou com a Waze Portugal a introdução, naquela plataforma, de todas as informações mais importantes em tempo real.

A estratégia desenhada, e que explicámos exaustivamente aqui foi implementada com um muito sucesso. O canal de Telegram foi uma das fontes também usadas, tendo tido – em média – 4600 visualizações por cada informação publicada.
A articulação, in loco e remotamente, com todas as entidades envolvidas demonstrou, uma vez mais, que é possível usar a tecnologia para o bem comum.
Esta solução foi elogiada pela FIA e levantou o interesse dos organizadores do Rally da Bélgica que vão ter, também, restrições à presença de público no seu rally.
